Job description
GitHub is hiring a Staff Product Manager, Payments to join our fully remote team in the United States. As a Staff Product Manager, Payments, you'll define the vision and drive the roadmap for products customers love. This is a full-time, work-from-home role open to candidates across the US (Remote — US (PST)).
About the role
You'll define the vision and drive the roadmap for products customers love, partnering with a friendly, distributed team across US time zones. We care about outcomes over hours and give you the autonomy, tools, and support to do your best work from home.
What you'll do:
• Own the product roadmap and prioritization
• Translate customer needs into clear requirements
• Communicate strategy across the company
• Partner with engineering and design on delivery
• Define and track success metrics

Requirements
Minimum qualifications:
• 7+ years of experience, including leading teams or projects
• Comfort making data-informed decisions
• Customer-focused mindset
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Experience shipping software products
Nice to have:
• A track record of taking ownership and shipping independently
• Familiarity with modern collaboration tools (Slack, Notion, Linear)
