Staff Platform Engineer

Instacart is hiring a Staff Platform Engineer to join our fully remote team in the United States. As a Staff Platform Engineer, you'll design, build, and ship reliable software that scales to millions of users. This is a contract, work-from-home role open to candidates across the US (Remote — US (West Coast)). Minimum qualifications: • 7+ years of experience, including leading teams or projects • Experience with version control and CI/CD • Strong communication in a remote, async environment • US work authorization • Solid understanding of data structures, APIs, and databases Nice to have: • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment • Experience working in a fully remote or distributed team
