Job description
Snowflake is hiring a Staff Payroll Specialist, Accounts Receivable to join our fully remote team in the United States. As a Staff Payroll Specialist, Accounts Receivable, you'll keep our finances accurate, compliant, and insightful. This is a freelance, work-from-home role open to candidates across the US (Remote — US (EST)).
About the role
You'll keep our finances accurate, compliant, and insightful, partnering with a friendly, distributed team across US time zones. We care about outcomes over hours and give you the autonomy, tools, and support to do your best work from home.
What you'll do:
• Reconcile accounts and support month-end close
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations
• Prepare and review financial statements
• Analyze budgets and variances
• Support audits and reporting

Requirements
Minimum qualifications:
• 7+ years of experience, including leading teams or projects
• Strong attention to detail
• Accounting or finance background
• Proficiency with Excel and accounting software
• Understanding of GAAP
Nice to have:

• A track record of taking ownership and shipping independently
