Staff Bookkeeper, Accounts Payable

Squarespace is hiring a Staff Bookkeeper, Accounts Payable to join our fully remote team in the United States. As a Staff Bookkeeper, Accounts Payable, you'll keep our finances accurate, compliant, and insightful. This is a contract, work-from-home role open to candidates across the US (Remote — Anywhere in the US). About the role You'll keep our finances accurate, compliant, and insightful, partnering with a friendly, distributed team across US time zones. Minimum qualifications: • 7+ years of experience, including leading teams or projects • Proficiency with Excel and accounting software • Understanding of GAAP • Accounting or finance background • Strong attention to detail Nice to have: • Familiarity with modern collaboration tools (Slack, Notion, Linear) • Comfort communicating clearly and proactively in writing
