Security Engineer

Shopify is hiring a Security Engineer to join our fully remote team in the United States. As a Security Engineer, you'll design, build, and ship reliable software that scales to millions of users. This is a full-time, work-from-home role open to candidates across the US (Remote — Anywhere in the US). Minimum qualifications: • 2+ years of relevant experience • Proficiency in one or more modern languages (TypeScript, Go, Python, or Java) • Experience with version control and CI/CD • Solid understanding of data structures, APIs, and databases • US work authorization Nice to have: • A track record of taking ownership and shipping independently • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
