Cloudflare is hiring a Principal Platform Engineer, Cloud to join our fully remote team in the United States. As a Principal Platform Engineer, Cloud, you'll keep our infrastructure reliable, scalable, and secure. This is a full-time, work-from-home role open to candidates across the US (Remote — US (EST)). About the role You'll keep our infrastructure reliable, scalable, and secure, partnering with a friendly, distributed team across US time zones. We care about outcomes over hours and give you the autonomy, tools, and support to do your best work from home. Minimum qualifications: • 7+ years of experience, including leading teams or projects • Strong troubleshooting skills • Scripting skills (Bash, Python, or Go) • Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure • On-call and incident response experience Nice to have: • Familiarity with modern collaboration tools (Slack, Notion, Linear) • A growth mindset and eagerness to keep learning
