Automattic is hiring a Principal Operations Manager, Business to join our fully remote team in the United States. As a Principal Operations Manager, Business, you'll make the business run smoothly and efficiently. This is a full-time, work-from-home role open to candidates across the US (Remote — Anywhere in the US).

You'll make the business run smoothly and efficiently, partnering with a friendly, distributed team across US time zones. We care about outcomes over hours and give you the autonomy, tools, and support to do your best work from home.

• Coordinate across teams and vendors

Requirements
Minimum qualifications:
• 7+ years of experience, including leading teams or projects
• Comfort with data and spreadsheets
• Clear communication
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Operations or analyst experience
Nice to have:
• Familiarity with modern collaboration tools (Slack, Notion, Linear)
• A growth mindset and eagerness to keep learning
