Job description
Canva is hiring a Principal Graphic Designer, Marketing to join our fully remote team in the United States. As a Principal Graphic Designer, Marketing, you'll craft intuitive, beautiful experiences end to end. This is a full-time, work-from-home role open to candidates across the US (Remote — US (West Coast)).
About the role
You'll craft intuitive, beautiful experiences end to end, partnering with a friendly, distributed team across US time zones. We care about outcomes over hours and give you the autonomy, tools, and support to do your best work from home.
What you'll do:
• Design flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups
• Conduct and apply user research
• Contribute to and maintain the design system
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering
• Iterate based on feedback and data

Requirements
Minimum qualifications:
• 7+ years of experience, including leading teams or projects
• Understanding of accessibility and usability
• Ability to give and receive feedback
• Strong visual and interaction design skills
• Proficiency in Figma
Nice to have:
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Familiarity with modern collaboration tools (Slack, Notion, Linear)
