Principal Data Scientist

Google is hiring a Principal Data Scientist to join our fully remote team in the United States. As a Principal Data Scientist, you'll turn data into insights and intelligent products. This is a contract, work-from-home role open to candidates across the US (Remote — Anywhere in the US). About the role You'll turn data into insights and intelligent products, partnering with a friendly, distributed team across US time zones. Minimum qualifications: • 7+ years of experience, including leading teams or projects • Understanding of statistics and experimentation • Experience with data visualization tools • Familiarity with cloud data warehouses • Strong SQL and Python (or R) Nice to have: • A growth mindset and eagerness to keep learning • Comfort communicating clearly and proactively in writing
