Job description

GitLab is hiring a Lead UX Researcher, Design Systems to join our fully remote team in the United States. As a Lead UX Researcher, Design Systems, you'll craft intuitive, beautiful experiences end to end. This is a freelance, work-from-home role open to candidates across the US (Remote — USA). About the role You'll craft intuitive, beautiful experiences end to end, partnering with a friendly, distributed team across US time zones. We care about outcomes over hours and give you the autonomy, tools, and support to do your best work from home. Requirements

Minimum qualifications: • 7+ years of experience, including leading teams or projects • Understanding of accessibility and usability • Strong visual and interaction design skills • Proficiency in Figma • Ability to give and receive feedback Nice to have: • Comfort communicating clearly and proactively in writing • Experience working in a fully remote or distributed team
