Job description
Zendesk is hiring a Lead Editor, Marketing to join our fully remote team in the United States. As a Lead Editor, Marketing, you'll tell clear, compelling stories that inform and engage. This is a full-time, work-from-home role open to candidates across the US (Remote — US (PST)).
About the role
You'll tell clear, compelling stories that inform and engage, partnering with a friendly, distributed team across US time zones. We care about outcomes over hours and give you the autonomy, tools, and support to do your best work from home.
What you'll do:
• Maintain a consistent voice and style
• Optimize content for search and clarity
• Manage an editorial calendar
• Write and edit content for a range of audiences
• Collaborate with subject-matter experts

Requirements
Minimum qualifications:
• 7+ years of experience, including leading teams or projects
• Attention to detail
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• SEO awareness is a plus
• A portfolio of published work
Nice to have:
• Comfort communicating clearly and proactively in writing
• Familiarity with modern collaboration tools (Slack, Notion, Linear)
