Grammarly is hiring a Lead Controller, Payroll to join our fully remote team in the United States. As a Lead Controller, Payroll, you'll keep our finances accurate, compliant, and insightful. This is a full-time, work-from-home role open to candidates across the US (Remote — Anywhere in the US). About the role You'll keep our finances accurate, compliant, and insightful, partnering with a friendly, distributed team across US time zones. Minimum qualifications: • 7+ years of experience, including leading teams or projects • Proficiency with Excel and accounting software • Analytical mindset • Understanding of GAAP • Accounting or finance background Nice to have: • Familiarity with modern collaboration tools (Slack, Notion, Linear) • A track record of taking ownership and shipping independently
